Welcome to Sharnbrook Mill Theatre
The Mill is a friendly, inclusive, open and award-winning community theatre, entirely run by volunteers and located in Bedfordshire, UK. You can read about our Mission and Values here.
We produce four in-house shows each year in our historic theatre which was converted from an old mill. Alongside our productions, we host social events and workshops for members and welcome bands, dance schools and professional artists to our venue. Find out more here.

Gerald Dickens returns to The Mill with his acclaimed one-man production of Charles Dickens' famous tale of redemption and Christmas cheer.

2nd-7th December 2024 - Elf the Musical
Get into the Christmas spirit with this hilarious hit musical about Buddy the Elf who travels from the North Pole to visit his father in present-day New York and discovers his family is on the naughty list!

14th December 2024 - Entertainia: a Christmas Extravaganza
Entertainia Theatre School presents a showcase of musical theatre performances.
Performances: 12pm (doors open 11am) and 6pm (doors open 5pm)

January 2025 - Godspell workshops and auditions
Workshops for this classic musical, with songs by the writer behind Wicked, will be on Tuesday, 7th and Thursday, 9th January at The Mill.
Auditions will take place on Sunday, 12th January.
11th-15th March 2025 - Dracula: the Bloody Truth!
A hilarious and madcap comedy retelling of the iconic gothic classic. The year is 1900 and Professor Van Helsing is not happy. Bram Stoker’s novel may be entertaining but it’s not the truth… the bloody truth..! The truth must come out! He has gathered a troupe of highly trained actors to tell the story of the vampire who came to Whitby leaving a trail of blood and destruction in his wake. Grab your garlic and your stakes in this comedy guaranteed to have your blood run cold!

13th-17th May 2025 - Godspell
Come one, come all to see the parables of Jesus Christ told in new, exciting ways in this visionary musical. This musical, from the pen of Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, The Prince of Egypt) will open your eyes to the teachings of Jesus with fabulous songs and clever storytelling. From his early days through to the Last Supper and Crucifixion, this musical will show you his wonderful messages of kindness, tolerance and love.
23rd-27th September 2025 - Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike
This Tony Award-winning play is full of mischief and comedy, just as Chekhov never intended! The 2013 Best Play winner at the Tony Awards comes to Sharnbrook. Three siblings discuss their lives and loves, in between arguments, whilst trying to persuade a visitor to keep his clothes on in this critically-acclaimed, but slightly mad comedy based on the classical themes of Chekhov.

A family-friendly show to enjoy in the run-up to the festive season.
