Audition information for Nativity! The Musical

Here are all the details you need to know for auditions for Nativity: The Musical, our November/December musical at Sharnbrook Mill Theatre.

Please note, there are forms to fill in if you wish to audition – find these at the bottom of this page!

Key dates

Show dates: Tuesday, 29th November – Saturday, 3rd December

Rehearsals: Tuesday and Thursdays. There will be some Saturday rehearsals for the children in the cast.

Auditions and workshops (see the Timetable later in the page for details of who is required when):

• Tuesday, 19th July
• Thursday, 21st July
• Sunday, 24th July

Cast needed

The children

We will need children to play parts in the classes of the two schools in the show – St Bernadette’s and Oakmoor School.

There will be just one team of children across all performances, playing ages of 7-11 years.

We may also have a choir of slightly older children (singing only), aged 9-13 years.

Workshops and auditions

Tuesday 19th July – Workshop (with musical director Rod!)
6.30pm – Children
7.45pm – Adults

Thursday 21st July – Workshop
5.30-7.30pm – Children (dance)
7.30pm – Adults

Sunday 24th July – Auditions
12pm – Children
2.30pm – Adults

Audition forms

You will need to fill in an online form in order to audition. This helps us to plan the auditions and gather information we’ll need in the event that you are cast.

• Auditionees who are 18 years of age and over.
• Auditionees who are under the age of 18.
