A Man of No Importance

This musical drama tells the story of a Dublin amateur theatre group in 1964. Their leader, Bus Conductor Alfie, is determined to stage a version of Oscar Wilde’s play ‘Salome’ at his church, despite the objections of church authorities. This decision results in personal truths being revealed that will change his life forever but also show the power of family, friendship and acceptance.

Every rewrite is more hilariously terrible than the one before and, although it really shouldn’t, the show somehow manages to go on!
